Is this a witchhunt on the part of the pharma industry or medical establishment:

Reminds me of the case of the (female) ob-gyn in Austria who had the wisdom to let premies snuggle against their parents rather than (often die) trying to survive in an incubator and who subsequently lost her license to practice.
"Detoxify or Die" may well explain the underlying causes of a lot of the pain and grief many people, especially in Western cultures, needlessly suffer from..... (don't end a sentence with "from"). Read the book and make up your own mind. Also consider checking out the free on-line safe cosmetics database. If you cannot safely eat it, and if you cannot correctly pronounce the synthetic chemical "ingredients", why smear it on your skin, your largest and most absorptive organ?

Are your friends and family dropping from Cancer and other awful diseases? The big "Pharma" (and doctors who only know how to treat the symptoms instead of curing the problem because they make more money that way) is making way too much money on Cancer treatments to want you to have this information on how you can detoxify your own body. Our wild porpoises and whales are labeled "toxic waste dumps" when they wash up on shore and have to be disposed of accordingly. Our water is contaminated with pharmaceuticals, jet fuel, heavy metals, plastics and more. You can ignore the situation or you can get this book and open your eyes to be pro-active with your health. Don't wait until you are sick and your doctor tells you to cut it out!

I bought this book for my mum and dad by request. They do not have the internet so I ordered it for them. I have not read it so can only tell you that my mum was so interested in it she was finding it hard to put down. My mum and dad are very much into health and this book was recommended to them.

This book is incredibly helpful for those of us who no longer trust established policies to protect us from greedy commercialism and chemicals in our environment and workplaces that are harming us and will eventually kill us all at some point in our lives if we continue to allow ourselved open exposure without added protection so that when our bodies protest them and fail in functioning. Whew, that said, buy it, read it, and learn to protect yourself and your loved ones asap!
